Well, I made myself a big pot of soup and now I’m set until Christmas. 🎄

I made ground beef vegetable soup from a recipe I got from old friend about 30 years ago. My first wife had made I few times and we liked it. I probably didn’t get it exactly like she used to. She was a hell of a cook. 👨‍��

Later tonight I will stuff some ice cream in my face. I’m really looking forward to that. 😊

after buck and eddie get together, eddie starts giving buck absentminded kisses all the time.

kiss on the forehead after he passes him his morning coffee. kiss on the cheek while buck is cooking dinner. kiss on the back of his hand as buck drives them to bobby’s house for a family bbq. kiss on top of his head while they cuddle watching a documentary. kiss on his shoulder while they sit on the station couch reading in between calls.

but buck’s favorite kisses? the ones edde blows him from a distance. when no one is looking during a call and they have to separate, buck doing evac and eddie treating some minor burns. when buck is pulling out of the their driveway to go meet maddie and jee for lunch and eddie sees him off from the front porch. during their family night out at the movies with chris in between them before the action film their son chose and they’re both probably going to hate begins.

every single blown kiss is always followed by eddie mouthing “i love you” at him, and every single time buck feels himself start to blush, the butterflies in his stomach staging a very chaotic and uncoordinated flash mob.

there’s something so exhilarating about knowing that no matter how close or far away they physically are eddie always wants to be kissing him. like eddie knows just as well as buck does that his lips were always meant to graze buck’s skin and leave behind goosebumps for hours to come.

even when they can’t see each other at all, buck knows eddie is thinking about it too because eddie does not go more than 3 hours without sending him little 😘 emojis. he doesn’t say anything else, doesn’t contextualize them because he doesn’t need to. it's just random 😘 throughout the day, scattered in between the rest of their texts.

buck [3:33pm]: got caught in traffic, chris and i will be there soon! eddie [3:33pm]: ok, hen and denny just arrived eddie [6:03pm]: 😘

my favorite day of the week... it's here :) JUNGLE FREAKING SUNDAY!!!

^ fun fact this is sorta old actually i drew it all the way back in july. and i didn't even draw it on a sunday. i just found this picture and i got really really excited about it and had to draw over it. featuring a few of my good friends in the audience :) you guys know who you are.

my very first jungle sunday art... made this one on the last day of pride month :o) started out as a shitpost doodle but then i got too into it and was like well let's do this like evry sunday UAHAHAHA

ONE OF MY FRIENDS REQUESTED THIS ONE UAHAHAHA i was asking around for jungle sunday drawing prompts and they told me this year's tanabata was on sunday teehee ^_^

THEN A WEEK LATER I FOUND OUT INTERNATIONAL NONBINARY PEOPLE'S DAY WAS ALSO ON A JUNGLE SUNDAY you can pinpoint this is the Exact moment he officially became my fave character. also other really quick silly doodles of him cause i still had a couple hours left before the clock rolled over to monday

he saves me. this was the last one i made before i stopped drawing him every sunday... i miss it so much i need to go back. i'm not annoying enough about jungle i need to get crazier. ineed people to hate me.

also sorry to be tht guy but please don't tag these as jerajungle aha ^_^;; shippers are totally fine to interact btw idm!!! i just personally see them as having a found family-esque dynamic so i'd rather not have my own stuff of them be interpreted as ship art heehee... i do see him as 17 though so if you pair him with any of the other characters please don't interact with me UWHAHAHAHA

when i make modern aus i try to find the equivalent of canon to have the characterization as close as possible, and i was trying to think of how to explain sunday and aventurine’s penacony beef. and tbh i still haven’t decided but i have determined the funniest:

aventurine and robin go through a crisis as young adults (late teens, early 20s) and briefly date before realizing neither of them are into each other and becoming friends, and sunday has never fully recovered from the ~2 weeks where they dated.
